What are Penis Fillers?

Penile use of dermal filler is off-label. Risks include infection, nodules, asymmetry, vascular injury and tissue damage. Discuss the exact material, alternatives and options for managing complications before treatment.

Hyaluronic Acid Filler

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally-occuring sugar substance in the skin. Its hydrophilic properties means that it holds water, and plumps the treated area for an extended amount of time. Popular brands of hyaluronic acid-based filler include Juvederm and Restylane.

Bellafill (PMMA-Collagen Gel)

Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA)-collagen gel is long-lasting and cannot be dissolved, so it is considered only after careful assessment. The microspheres contained in this filler provide a structure onto which the patient’s body can grow its own collagen, continuously adding natural volume to the treated area.

Fat Grafting

Fat grafting provides a natural approach to increasing penis size. This procedure repurposes the patient’s own unwanted fat to increase penis girth and length.

Types of Procedures

Receiving penis fillers is an out-patient procedure that takes about an hour. In a single session, multiple syringes are used to carefully increase the size of the penis to a satisfactory result. A handful of sessions over time may be needed to build to the patient’s goal size.

How long do penis filler results last?

Duration depends on the product, anatomy and response. Hyaluronic acid is gradually absorbed. PMMA is non-absorbable and can be difficult to remove. Fat retention varies. No material guarantees a permanent appearance or freedom from future complications.

I’m uncircumcised. Can I receive penis filler?
